Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Warriors, owned by city’s NR Group, conducted Talent Hunt at Just Cricket Academy in Bengaluru to identify aspiring women cricketers to participate in the maiden KSCA Maharani Trophy T20 – 2025 to be held in Bengaluru from Aug. 4 to 10. Cycle Pure Agarbathi will be extending their support to the Maharani Trophy and will present the ‘Trusted Player’ award to outstanding performers of the 2025 season.
The Mysore Warriors, having achieved an impressive win last year in the Maharaja Trophy and with a legacy of nurturing cricketing talent, are now extending their commitment by hosting a talent hunt for young, aspiring women cricketers. This initiative aims to identify and cultivate promising young cricketers, offering them a chance to secure a position in the inaugural season of the Maharani Trophy and be part of Mysore Warriors. Around 60 to 70 talented women cricketers will be recommended by the Mysore Warriors team for inclusion in the upcoming auction.
Speaking about the Maharani Trophy, Arjun Ranga, Owner of Mysore Warriors and Managing Director of Cycle Pure Agarbathi, said: “As the Maharani Trophy kicks off its inaugural season, the Mysore Warriors is incredibly excited to be part of this historic event and contribute to the growth of women’s cricket. Through the talent hunt, upcoming players will be able to nurture their cricket abilities and represent Mysore Warriors.”
Warriors Team Manager M.R. Suresh, Women’s Team Head Coach Karuna Jain, Assistant Coach S. Rajath, Physio Mridu Gautham, Strength & Conditioning Coach Harshitha Krishnaswamy and Throw Down Specialist Guru were present.
