Mysurean bags REX Karmaveer Fellowship

Mysuru: Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist and Rural Programme Coordinator from CFTRI, Mysuru, has been conferred the “REX Karmaveer Chakra – Silver” at a recent function in New Delhi for her commendable work in the field of Social Service through  Science. She received the award from Jeroninio Almeida (Founder of REX and Karmaveer Mission). 

The REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship  (RGKF) is instituted by International-Confederation-Of-NGO-(iCONGO) in partnership with UN (United Nations). 

The award recipients for this year represented several countries which included Iran, Mexico, France, UK, Romania, Netherlands, Belgium, America, Singapore, China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and were finalised after a rigorous selection process. It recognises people who have the courage of conviction to think differently with innovative ideas and make a difference in our society.

Dr. Renu Agrawal has been making a difference to uplift the society through Science popularisation and communication.
