Mysurean marries Chinese colleague in city

True to the saying that love  has no barriers or boundaries, a Mysurean married his Chinese colleague in a Christian wedding which was solemnised at Wesley Cathedral on Mother Theresa Road on Wednesday morning.

David Anok, son of Sumithra and Samuel couple, residents of Raghavendranagar, who is working in a trading company in China is the one who married his colleague Wang Ting at the Cathedral which was attended by a host of relatives and friends of David. Wang’s family did not attend the wedding as they were unable to travel because of the distance. The reception was held at a private hotel in city later in the day.

David, after his graduation, left to work at a trading company in Guanszhou in China five years ago where he became a friend to Wang, who was also working in the same company. As days passed, their friendship turned into love.

David said that his family did not oppose the inter-culture wedding when he told his family about marrying a Chinese girl and added that Wang had attended the wedding of his brother which was held a year ago. He said that they would fly back to China this weekend and where he would marry Wang as per Chinese tradition in the presence of Wang’s family members.
