Mysore/Mysuru: The world of entrepreneurship with roots in Mysuru is coming together at TiECon.local, a confluence of entrepreneurs and investors held in Mysuru today and tomorrow (Dec. 2 and 3) as a virtual event.

The conference organised by TiE Mysuru Chapter (The Indus Entrepreneurs) will be inaugurated by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, said Ajith Pai, President, TiE Mysuru.

The conference will have speakers like B.V. Jagdeesh of Kaaj Ventures, Anu Hariharan of Y Combinator, Shyam Shenthar of 03 Capital, Rajiv Raghunandan of Arali Ventures from the Venture Capital and Angel investing community, he added.

Cdr. S. Abhiram, Chair – TiECon.local, said that Sharath Jois of Sharath Yoga Centre, Dr. Chaitra Harsha of Vipragen Biosciences, Srikanth Nadhamuni of Novopay Solutions, Varchasvi Shankar of V2Soft, Sandeep Rao of Remote Roofing, Rohan Ganapathy of Bellatrix Aerospace, Madhuchandan of Organic Mandya and Raj Patil, Orion Innovations, will be sharing their journeys of entrepreneurship.

Sessions like “Entrepreneurial Journey to Win”, “Incubation, Acceleration and Scale”, “Mysuru and Yoga”, “Confessions of a Startup Founder” and “Inorganic Strategy for growth”, will bring an all-round perspective and positive change that entrepreneurs can bring to our city, he added.

S. Nagarajan, Co-Chair of TiECon.local, said the idea was to bring together entrepreneurs and investors whose lives have been touched by the city of Mysuru and surrounding regions.

On Dec.4, which is an offline event, Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Member-HR, Capacity Building Commission, Government of India, will talk on “Path to $5 Trillion.”

The valedictory address titled ‘Today Mysuru, Tomorrow the World,” will be delivered by Aroon Raman, Serial Entrepreneur and MD, Telo Investments, Bengaluru. On the occasion, three eminent entrepreneurs who have put Mysuru on the global map will be felicitated with Lifetime Achievement Award for their contributions. They are Prof. M.H. Dhananjaya, Founder & Chairman, Excelsoft Technologies; R. Guru, Chairman, NR Group & NR Foundation and Achutha B. Krishnamurthy, former Chairman & CEO, Unilog Content Solutions.
