Mysureans on tour to Manali expected to arrive in city this afternoon

Newly-wed couple comes in contact

Mysore/Mysuru: The 19 people from city, who had gone on a tour to Manali, in North India, which is battling heavy rains and floods are safe and are expected to reach Mysuru this afternoon.

Dharmesh Krishna, the tour organiser told SOM that all 19 tourists from Mysuru, who were stranded in Manali, have reached Bengaluru from New Delhi and are expected to reach Mysuru this afternoon, he added.

Meanwhile, Ankush and Neha Bhatkal, the newly-wed couple, who had been on a tour to North India and lost contact, are safe and their family members have contacted them over the phone.

Nithin Bhatkal, brother of Neha Bhatkal told SOM that Ankush and Neha came in contact yesterday night and added that they are expected to come to city in two or three days.
