Mysuru athletes excel at State-level Cross-Country Championship

Athletes, representing Mysore District Athletics Association (MDAA) in the 55th Karnataka State Cross-Country Championship-2021 organised by Kolar District Athletics Association, Kolar and Karnataka Athletics Association, at Kolar on Jan. 31, have excelled by winning medals in various categories. 

While T.K. Bopanna secured gold medal in Boys U-16 category (2-km) and Priyanka Gopi secured silver medal in U-18 category (4-km), Nagesh Vittal Pawar won bronze in Men’s category (10-km). 

Apart from them, Bharath H. Girigowda and Varun won 6th and 7th place respectively in Boys U-16 and Asuthosh Pranesh won 7th place in Boys U-20 (8-km) category.  

Also, Mysuru district secured Team Championship in Boys U-16 category, according to a press release.
