Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Devanshi Somaiya, Dr. Raghavi Karnam and Nandini V. Urs, researchers from city-based Public Health Research Institute of India (PHRII), an NGO, took part in the 14th Asia-Oceania Research Organisation in Genital Infection and Neoplasia (AOGIN) National Conference-2025 held at Jaipur in Rajasthan recently and presented e-posters.
Dr. Devanshi Somaiya was a panellist for the discussion on the topic ‘Overcoming Challenges and Barriers to HPV Screening: Strategies to Achieve Elimination Goals in India’ while Dr. Raghavi Karnam presented an e-poster on ‘Opportunities and Challenges of cervical cancer screening and follow up with HPV DNA self swab collection in Mysuru Rural district, India.’
Nandini V. Urs also presented an e-poster on ‘Understanding knowledge about HPV infection, cervical cancer and vaccination among adolescent school girls in rural Mysuru, Karnataka.’
