Mysuru lad Mustafa Raja wins the 4 Star Selection Series Tournament held by Tennis British Columbia at Stanley Park Tennis Courts in Vancouver, Canada.

Mustafa dominated the tournament and did not drop a single set in all the matches.

By winning this tournament, Mustafa is a step closer to be selected for the Nationals to be held by Tennis Canada in Toronto or Montreal. Five boys and girls from each age category will be selected from BC to play at the Nationals.

Mustafa, seeded third, defeated the No. 1 seed player Eric William in the semis with the score 6,3 and 6,3. In the finals, Mustafa defeated the second seeded player Owen with the score 6,2 and 6,1.

Mustafa now trains at the Tennis Centre in Vancouver. He is a product of Nagaraj Tennis Centre at SJCE College, Mysuru and was a student of Excel Public School, Mysuru. Mustafa moved to Vancouver in 2019.
