Mysuru boy wins prize in Intl. Online Contest

Mysore/Mysuru: S.R. Aprameya Karthik has won 1st prize in violin category at ‘Sanskriti Utsav 2’ Online National and International Competition organised by All India Cultural Society.

The 18-year-old is the son of music teacher M.V. Anitha and S. Ramanathan, residents of J.P. Nagar. He is currently pursuing 2nd semester Engineering at the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru.

Result 

Guitar Category: Rithvik Jandhyala, Arizona, USA – 1st prize; Rituraj Pal, West Bengal, India – 1st prize, Debagra Chakraborty, Tripura West, India – 2nd prize and Haseja Monika Gopalbhai, Gujarat, India – 2nd prize.

Violin Category: S.R. Aprameya Karthik, Karnataka, India – 1st and V. Sri Manjari, Chennai, India – 2nd.

Keyboard Category: Sudipta Kumar, West Bengal, India – 1st; Dileepa Hari, Trivandrum, India – 1st; Govind Sreekar, Sharjah, UAE – 2nd and Vedant Gupta, Patna, India – 2nd.
