Mysuru City Corporation’s ‘Operation Stray Cattle’

Following several complaints from the public about stray cattle causing problems on various roads in city, the Special Team, constituted by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) this morning caught two stray cows which were found roaming freely on the road opposite to Maharaja’s College Grounds near Ekalavya Circle and have shifted them to the cattle pound near Sewage Farm in Vidyaranyapuram. The MCC will be undertaking the operation to catch stray cattle daily and cattle owners have been warned not to let free their cows or buffaloes on roads failing which the stray cattle would be caught and shifted to the cattle pound and fine would be imposed on such cattle owners.
