Mysuru DC transfer: CAT adjourns hearing in IAS officer B. Sharat’s petition to Nov. 3

October 24, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) at Bengaluru on Friday adjourned the hearing to Nov. 3 on the petition filed by former Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) B. Sharat, questioning his transfer just one month into his job as Mysuru DC.

The Government, in a sudden move, had transferred B. Sharat, who had taken charge as Mysuru DC on Aug. 29. Sharat was replaced by Rohini Sindhuri Dasari, who assumed charge on Sept. 29.

The CAT’s adjournment of the hearing, has cleared the way for Rohini Sindhuri to take part in Dasara celebration, with ‘Jamboo Savari’ scheduled to take place on Oct. 26.
