Inspiring play by Divyanand (20 points) helped Protec Association, Mysuru, to register a 67-32 win over Spartans, Nanjangud, in the Mysuru District Basketball League-2019 for men, conducted by Mysore District Basketball Association (MDBBA) at the University Grounds here yesterday.

Men’s Section — Protec Association: 67 (Divyanand 20) bt Spartans, Nanjangud: 32 (Moin 8); All Stars Academy, Mysuru: 58 (Chandu 21) bt NBC, Mysuru: 53 (Sudarshan 19), Warriors, Mysuru: 59 (Ravichandra 14, Karthik 20) bt All Stars, Mysuru: 47 (Rakesh 47); BEML Ltd., Mysuru 76 (Rajesh Raj Urs 25) bt Spartans, Nanjangud: 58 (Kumar 12); Protec Challengers: 71 (Sachin 32) bt Young Challengers: 40 (Hitesh Gowda 20).

Women’s Section — DYES, Mysuru: 88 (Priya 18) bt YCSC, Mysuru: 15 (V. Ruchira 10); DYES: 68 (Bindhu 19) bt All Star Academy: 15 (Harini 4).
