Mysore District Chess Association (MDCA) will be conducting a Open Mysore District Open Rapid Chess Tournament on May 23 at the University Lions Hall premises (adjacent to the University Oval Athletic Grounds).Entry fee is Rs.250 (Inclusive of Rs.50 UKCA fee). Attractive prizes are in the offing for the winners in the Open section. There will be no cash prizes. Trophies will be given for first three places in the boys section in the U-15, U-12 & U-9 sections and for the first two places in the U-15, U-12 & U-9 girls sections.
