First and second place winners will be selected to district team

Mysore District Athletics Association (MDAA) will be conducting the Mysuru District Track and Field Athletic Meet-2021 for both boys and girls in the age groups of Under-14, U-16, U-18 and U-20 years at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city on Nov. 20 and 21 from 9 am onwards.

Participants who secure first and second place with best timings/ distance/ height in the respective categories will be selected for the district athletic team and they will represent Mysuru district in the upcoming Inter-District National Junior Athletic Meet-2021, Karnataka Junior Athletic Championship-2021 and Karnataka State Cross Country Championship-2021.

Events to be held for different age categories are as follows:

U-14: 60 mts, 600 mts, Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Put; U-16: 100 mts, 300 mts, 1,000 mts, 80 mts Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw and Javelin Throw; U-18: 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 1,500 mts, 110 mts Hurdles, 3,000 mts, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Discus Throw; U-20: 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 1,500 mts, 5,000 mts, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Discus Throw.
