Mysore/Mysuru: Nirvriti Praveen of Class 1 from NPS International School, Mysuru, has secured Rank 1 at the International level in the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) 2022-2023.

In the academic year 2022-23, millions of students appeared for the Olympiad exams from over 70,000 schools in more than 1,400 cities. Scoring a perfect centile in the questions that demand lateral and logical thinking apart from Mathematical skills is not an easy task. The 7-year-old aced the exam with a perfect score to stand first at the international level.

Nirvriti is the daughter of Dr. Aathira Ravindranath and Dr. Praveen Chandrashekar who works at Apollo Hospital, Mysuru.
