Mysuru Industries Association fetes Mayor, CII Mysuru Chairman

Mysuru: Pushpalatha Jagannath, Mayor,  Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and Bhaskar Kalale, Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru Zone, were felicitated by Mysuru Industries Association (MIA) recently.

Vasu, President, MIA, felicitated the Mayor, who received the Third Cleanest City of India Award from the President of India and assured the Mayor that MIA will extend full support to the MCC in achieving the target of First Cleanest City of India in the coming year.

Addressing the Industrialists, Pushpalatha Jagannath said that industries are playing a vital role in the economic and social development of Mysuru. She recalled the gesture of industries, under CSR funds, in various developmental and beautification works of Mysuru. Mayor expressed her full-hearted support for Industrial development in Mysuru.

Bhaskar Kalale, Chairman, CII Mysuru Zone, a native of Kalale in Nanjangud taluk and President & General Manager, Theorem India Pvt. Ltd., India Operations, was also felicitated on the occasion by P. Vishwanath, the first Mayor of Mysuru.

Kalale, replying to the felicitation, appreciated the efforts of MIA in apprising the Government  about the issues and grievances in the Industrial sector and getting the relief for the Industrial development.

D.K. Lingaraju, Joint Director, District Industries Centre (DIC) and K.C. Shivkumar, Development Officer, KIADB, heard the grievances of Industries related to infrastructure and interacted with them.

Satyendra, General Secretary, MIA, welcomed the gathering. MIA Secretary Suresh Kumar   Jain compered.
