Mysore/Mysuru: “City’s Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research has successfully organised two day free angioplasty workshop where about 60 cardiac patients were treated and inserted with stents recently,” said Sri Jayadeva Institute’s Medical Superintendent Dr. K.S. Sadananda.
The workshop was successfully held under the guidance of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Director Dr. C.N. Manjunath which was organised jointly by Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, America’s Medtronic and Dr. Govindaraju Subramani Heart Foundation, Wisconsin, America, added Dr. Sadananda.
Dr. Subramani of Dr. Govindaraju Subramani Heart Foundation, who spoke, said that he was born and brought up in Mysuru and is doing his bit for the people of Karnataka for the past 14 years. “This time also, I have given 250 stents,” he said lauding the medical services that are being provided by the Jayadeva Hospital.
Dr. Subramani said that the Hospital is providing better services than Advanced Technologies of USA.
“There is no bigger cardiac hospital in the world than Jayadeva Hospital and it is a surprise. Dr. C.N. Manjunath is leading the Hospital extremely well and the doctors and other staff are doing excellent work,” opined Dr. Subramani who also provided financial assistance to three poor patients.
Dr. Santosh, Dr. Veena Nanjappa, Dr. Sridhar, Dr. Jayasheelan, Dr. Nikhil, Dr. Bharati, Dr. Dinesh, Nursing Superintendent Harish Kumar, Public Relations Officer (PRO) Vani Mohan, Nurses Gurumurthy, Satish, Balaraj, Pratap, Mahadevi, Deepika and others participated in the workshop.
