Mysuru Rail Museum timings extended during Dasara

Mysuru: South Western Railway, Mysuru Division, has extended the working hours of the Mysuru Rail Museum on KRS Road (opposite CFTRI Gate) to facilitate visitors during the Dasara celebrations.

Accordingly, the Mysuru Rail Museum will remain open from Oct. 11 to 21 between 10  am and 8 pm (instead of 5.30 pm) on all days during this period.

The Museum will also remain open on Oct. 13 and 20 (Tuesdays), which are normally designated as weekly closing days.

Visitors may make use of the extended timings to explore the museum and its railway heritage exhibits during Dasara season.

Entry fee

Adults: Rs. 50, Children: 5-12 yrs – Rs. 20, Sr. Citizens: Rs. 25.

Students in group of 50 or more: 50% concession.
