Mysuru team shines in State-level Pencak Silat Tournament

The following students, who represented Mysuru District Pencak Silat Association at the 8th State-level Pencak Silat Tournament held in Bengaluru recently, have secured a total of 20 gold, 7 silver and 12 bronze medals and the Mysuru team also bagged Overall Championship:

All are trained under Ekalavya awardee S. Naveen, international sports persons and trainers K.R. Rashmi, S.M. Mahesh and Akarsh Urs. Association office-bearers C. Mahadeva, M.L. Moharaju and Shashikumar, National Federation Technical Director Abdul Razak, Secretary Vijay Kumar Hanchinal and State Technical Director Jagadish too were present. BCM Hostel Warden Bhagyalakshmi too encouraged the girl students to take up the sport.
