Mysuru wildlife photographer selected for World Cup Photography Competition

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru-based wildlife photographer S. Thippeswamy’s two wildlife photographs have been selected for the 16th World Cup Inter-Club Photography Competition organised by the Federation of International Art Photography, France, affiliated to UNESCO.

They are as follows: 1. Sloth Bear with Riding Cubs at Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, Karnataka; 2. Lion Mating at Masai Mara, Africa.

Entries were sent through Wildlife Photography Association of India, New Delhi. A total of 218 Clubs from 47 countries with 4,038 images participated in the contest.

Sloth Bear with Riding Cubs won many gold medals while Lion Mating won Federation of International Art, France Gold Medal and Photography Society of America, America, gold medals also in International Competitions.
