‘Mysuru Yakshotsava’ from tomorrow

Mysuru, Aug. 8 – Bellipadi Yaksha Samskrutika Trust, Mysuru, has organised a three-day ‘Mysuru Yakshotsava’ by Puttur Sri Mahalingeshwara Pravasi Yakshagana Kala Vrinda at Jaganmohan Palace in city from  Aug. 9 to 11 at 6 pm.

Aug. 9: Staging of Yakshagana ‘Veerabhyumanyu’ and ‘Kanakangi Kalyana.’ SP Ravi D. Channannavar will inaugurate. Star of Mysore Editor-in-Chief K.B. Ganapathy and Yakshagana exponent Prof. G.S. Bhatta will be the chief guests.

Aug. 10: Yakshagana ‘Parijatha Narakasura Vadhe.’

Aug. 11: Yakshagana ‘Mahishasuramardhini.’ Felicitation to Dr. Sridhar Bhandari,owner of Puttur Sri Mahalingeshwara Pravasi Yakshagana Kala Vrinda.
