Mysuru Zone’s Kruthik Krishna, who hails from Mandya, by virtue of his good performances in the BCCI U-19 Challenger Trophy, representing India ‘B’, has earned selection to represent India U-19 team in the five-match One-Day Series against Afghanistan at Lucknow from Nov.22 to 30.

The Indian team will be led by Priyam Garg and the Indian team is preparing for the next year’s U-19 World Cup. Vidyadhar Patil is the other player from Karnataka who is in the squad.
