The election to the post of Mysuru ZP President and Vice-President which was scheduled to take place on Feb.6 has been postponed. The Government has postponed the election as the Budget Session of the State Legislature is scheduled to commence from Feb.6. As Legislators, who are also voters in the ZP Presidential polls, are attending the Legislature Session, the Government had to inevitably postpone the polls, according to sources.
