N.C. Srinivas is new State Chief Information Commissioner

Bengaluru: N.C. Srinivas, a retired Principal Secretary of the State Law Department, took oath as the new State Chief Information Commissioner at the Raj Bhavan here yesterday.

S.M. Somashekar and K.P. Manjunath also took oath as Information Commissioners on the occasion. Governor Vajubhai R. Vala administered the oath of office to the three at a simple ceremony that took place at Raj Bhavan’s glasshouse.

Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Minor Irrigation Minister C.S. Puttaraju, MLC K.A. Thippeswamy, MLA C.N. Balakrishna, Karnataka Lokayukta Justice P. Vishwanath Shetty, Karnataka HC Acting Chief Justice L. Narayanaswamy and others were present.
