N. Gopal (80), a resident of Nala Beedhi in K.R. Mohalla, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his wife Bhagyamma, four sons including Congress leader Srinath Babu, one daughter, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this noon, according to family sources.
