N. Hemanth Kumar (72), a former Corporator and a Past Director of the City Co-operative Bank, passed away here yesterday. He was among the first BJP Corporators of the city.

A resident of Mandi Mohalla, he leaves behind his wife Vishalakshi, daughters Vidya and Chandana, son Manjunath and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held at the burial grounds on Jodi Tenginamara Road in Bannimantap this afternoon, according to family sources.
