Dhanurvainika Brahma title to be conferred on Vid. Mysore M. Nagaraj

Mysore/Mysuru: Two violin legends will be remembered by Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha at a programme to be held on Jan. 17 and Jan. 19.

 On Jan. 17 (Sunday), Vid. S. Shankar will give a vocal concert at 6 pm at Nadabrahma Sabha on JLB Road in memory of legendary Violin Maestro Parur MSG. He will be accompanied on Violin by Vidu. Sindhu Suchethan,Tumkur B. Ravishankar on Mridanga and Sharath Kaushik on Ghata. The programme is sponsored by Vid. H.K. Narasimha Murthy in honour of his Guru.

On Jan. 19 (Tuesday), the Sabha will remember Piteel Chowdaiah. The programme is sponsored by Piteelu Chowdaiah Samsmarana Vedike.

Vid. Mysore M.Nagaraj will be conferred the title “Dhanurvainika Brahma” in honour of Piteel Mysore T. Chowdaiah on his 53rd  death anniversary.

Actor-MP Sumalatha Ambarish, who is a family member of Piteel Chowdaiah, will be the chief guest.  MLA L.Nagendra will be the guest of honour.
