17th monthly programme, ‘Samarpanam’ (To sir with love), a Bharatanatyam Solo Concert by Vidu. Mithra Naveen in memory and dedication to Shantala and Rajyotsava awardee Guru Natyacharya K. Muralidhara Rao to mark his 95th birthday, accompanied by Vid. Naveen M.S. Andagar on vocal, Guru Dr. Vidu. Kripa Phadke on natuvanga, Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy on mridanga and Vid. C.N. Thagarajan on flute, Kala Sevaratna art patron K.V. Murthy, art critic Dr. Rama V. Bennur, Director of Noopura School of Dance Natyacharya Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao and Director of Nrityagiri Performing Arts and Research Centre Dr. Vidu. Kripa Phadke guests of honour, Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, JLB Road, 6 pm.
