Nalapad’s judicial custody extended

Bengaluru: Even as the Karnataka High Court has begun to hear the bail petition filed by Mohammad Nalapad, son of Shantinagar Congress MLA N.A. Haris, who was arrested in connection with the brutal assault on a youth which incident hit the national headlines recently, the Bengaluru First ACMM Court today extended the judicial custody of Mohammad Nalapad till Mar.21.

Mohammad Nalapad and his few associates were arrested by the Bengaluru Police about 15 days ago, on charges of brutally assaulting 24-year-old Vidvat in a restaurant late night on Feb. 17 over a trivial issue.
