Nandakumar (48), proprietor of Hotel Nanda at Banumaiah Chowk, passed away on Dec. 18 following brief illness. He leaves behind his parents, wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed on the same day at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
