Nanjangud cook’s body found near Railway track at Noida, UP

Nanjangud:  Mystery shrouds over the death of a cook from Nanjangud, whose body was found near the Railway track at Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

The body has been identified as that of Harsha Jamadhagni (35), son of well-known cook and former Nanjangud Town Municipal Member late Sripati. The body bore injuries on the head and face and it is to be known whether Harsha died after falling from the train or was he murdered? 

A cook by profession, Harsha, who had gone to Kashi a few years back, was working as a cook and was also acting as a guide for those coming from Karnataka. It is learnt that Harsha was caught in some problem at Kashi and had migrated to Prayag about six months ago where he was acting as a guide.

Harsha, who had come to Nanjangud a few days ago, had asked his mother Sumithramma to sell the house and give him money as he had Rs.6 lakh debt, said his friend to Star of Mysore.

Noida Railway Police, who found the body along with his mobile phone, called Harsha’s friend from the phone and informed him about Harsha’s death and also sent the photos of Harsha’s body on WhatsApp. 

Harsha’s mother has gone to Shivamogga, for the house-warming ceremony of her daughter’s house and has been informed about Harsha’s death. Sumithramma and her son-in-law have left for Noida,                                        according to sources.
