Nanjangud: The Nanjangud BJP has braced itself for the Parivartana Rally in this temple town to take place at Vidyavardhaka Grounds at 3 pm this afternoon.

The rally has entered the temple town after completing the Chamarajanagar leg on Sunday. More than 20,000 people are expected to take part in the rally, which will be attended by State BJP President B.S. Yeddyurappa, Senior BJP leader V. Sreenivasa Prasad, MPs Shobha Karandlaje and Pratap Simha, former Minister  V. Somanna, District BJP President Kote M. Shivanna and other top leaders.

Yesterday, V. Sreenivasa Prasad, who represented the constituency in 2008 and 2013 until his defeat in the by-polls held in April last year, reviewed the preparations for the rally, along with other local leaders S. Mahadevaiah, Kumbralli Subbanna, Dayanandamurthy and Harshavardhan at the venue yesterday.
