Nanjangud: A 35-year-old man, who entered a lake in Sirsi taluk for a swim, has been drowned on Tuesday.

The deceased is Shivakumar (35), a resident of Channapatna village in Nanjangud taluk, who was working as a Co-ordinator at Karunya organisation at Sirsi.

He leaves behind his wife, two children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Channapatna village on Wednesday.
