NAREDCO seminar on affordable housing on May 29

Mysuru: Challenges for builders and developers and also for the government  are just too many. Starting from land acquisition till completion, there are plenty of hurdles because of unorganised and unprepared approach which generally affects the coordination from so many stakeholders involved in the project – conception to completion.

‘Affordable Housing’ is an emerging concept where projects can be constructed on a fast-track basis. NAREDCO (National Real Estate Development Council) Mysuru, along with JSW Steels, a giant in construction steel, is organising a seminar on “Light Steel Building Solution” on May 29, Tuesday at 6.30 pm at Hotel Sothern Star, Vinoba Road, in city.

Addressing reporters at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city yesterday, M. Sathish Kumar, Chairman, Vision Mysuru 2030 Committee, NAREDCO Mysuru said innovative technology like light steel building solution is both affordable and a fast track construction technology.

At the seminar, industry experts including Ashok Bharadwaj, Vice President, JSW Steel, Mumbai, Dr. R. Gopalan, Director and CEO, SDC, Composite Technology Park, Bengaluru and B.R. Suchendra from Brigade Group will be the guests and they will share their ideas.

N. Divyesh, Convenor, NAREDCO Mysuru, T.G. Adisheshan Gowda, Core Committee Chairman and member Mohan Kumar were present at the press conference.
