‘Nareyana’ Award for city’s Sri Ramakrishna Ashram

Sri Ramakrishna Ashram in city has been selected for ‘Nareyana’ Award (2026), given by Sri Yoginareyana Yathindra Prachara Sabha, J.P. Nagar, Mysuru, for its decades-old dedicated service to society and deep  involvement in spreading the rich cultural, spiritual and religious traditions. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a citation. The two earlier awardees were Prof. C.N. Srinath (Educationist), who was given the award in association with University of Mysore and retired IAS Officer M.R. Srinivas Murthy, who was given the award in association with Mandya University.

Ramakrishna Ashram President Swami Muktidanandaji will receive the award at an event to take place at Dr. Rajkumar Jilla Rangamandira in Chamarajanagar at 11 am on Mar. 22, in the presence of Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji,  Kaivara Sri Kshetra Dharmadhikari Dr. M.R. Jayaram, MLC Dr. M.R. Seetharam and a host of other personalities.
