Mysore/Mysuru: The 67th National Co-operation Week will take place in the city and District from tomorrow (Nov.14) till Nov. 20.
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, MUDA Chairman and District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev said that the theme for this year is ‘Corona Crisis – Atmanirbhar Bharath – Co-operative Institutions.’ Pointing out that all co-operative establishments in the district have been asked to hoist the Co-operative flag of 7 colours atop their buildings during the National Co-operation Week, he said that the programme will be inaugurated at Sahakara Bhavan on Chamaraja Double Road at 10 am tomorrow (Nov.14), following which there will be a lecture on the topic ‘The role and responsibility of Co-operative Institutions in post Corona times.’
Stating that the week-long celebration will be a low key affair this year due to COVID-19 crisis, Rajeev said that the events will be celebrated at Mysuru taluk Co-operative complex Auditorium on Nov.15, at MyMUL Office in H.D. Kote on Nov.16, at Nagarle PACCS Office in Nanjangud taluk on Nov.17, Chamanahalli in T. Narasipur taluk on Nov.18, Ankanahalli in Hunsur taluk on Nov.19 and at Hitnebagilu PACCS in Periyapatna taluk on Nov.20.
