The District Administration in association with Zilla Panchayat, Food and Civil Supplies Department, District Legal Services Authority and District Consumer Disputes Re-dressal Forum, will be conducting National Consumer Day-2021  programme at Varthakara Samudaya Bhavan in APMC premises at Bandipalya on Nanjangud road at 12 noon tomorrow (Dec.24).

District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum President B. Narayanappa will inaugurate the programme. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bagadi Gautham will preside. Senior Civil Judge Devaraj Bhute, who is also Member-Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, ZP CEO A.M. Yogesh and District Consumer Commission Member M.K. Lalitha  will be the chief guests. Vidyavardhaka Law College Principal Dr. P. Deepu will deliver a talk on ‘Consumer Rights and Responsibilities.’ The event will also feature an awareness and informative expo on consumer rights in which several Departments such as Food and Civil Supplies, Agriculture, Horticulture, Legal Metrology, MyMUL, Oil com-panies IOC, HPC  & BPC and LPG Units  will take part.
