National-level Project Contest at GSSSIETW tomorrow

Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru, is conducting the 4th National-level Project Competition “IEEE PROJECT EXPO-2019” under IEEE Student Branch (STB1786) and IEEE WIE Affinity Group, GSSSIETW in association with IEEE Bangalore Section on Apr. 29 from 9.30 am.

The purpose of this competition is to highlight various opportunities and challenges in all the engineering sectors, get insight into the future procurement plans and examine the technology options and strategies.

Its main objective is to provide a forum to exhibit the technical challenges implemented in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology and related areas.

Winners will be awarded with cash prizes and certificates.

The IEEE PROJECT EXPO will be inaugurated by S. Rajashekhar, IP Specialist, GE Bengaluru, Secretary, IEEE Bangalore Section and Chair-Elect, IEEE PES, Bangalore Chapter.

Air Commodore Ravi Krishna Iyengar, AVSM VSM (Veteran), Vice-President-Strategic Business (Aero Space & Defence), Kaynes Technology India Pvt Ltd., Mysuru, will be the guest of honour.

The inaugural function will be presided by Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS. R.K. Bharath,  CEO, GSSS, Anupama B. Pandit, Administrative Officer, GSSSIETW, Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Convener Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, IEEE Student Branch Counsellor, Professor  & Head, Department of TCE and Chief Coordinators C. Shyamala, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, S.I. Arpitha Shankar, Assistant Professor, Department of TCE, M. Keerthi Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of TCE will be present.
