Mysuru: A National-level Technical competition ‘Techno Spectrum-2018’ was organised by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) in association with IEEE Bangalore Chapter recently.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest Prajith Nair, Product Lead and Solution Architect, Infosys Ltd., Mysuru in the presence of Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Dr.S. Meenakshi Sundaram, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GSSSIETW, Dr. P. Raviraj, Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering.
The technical competitions included events like SDLC – Software Development Life Cycle called as Project Build, Web Design in the name Web Mania, Go Green Concept called as Green Brain, Word Scramble in the name of Techno Word Build and Coding in C and C++ named as C Code Storm.
The winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates.
This competition aimed at nourishing aspiring engineers with technical knowledge and providing an opportunity to showcase their talents. It also aimed in exposing the inherent talents in programming, design and development of software.
