Mysuru: A two-day national seminar on ‘The Contributions of the Eastern and Western Disciples of Swami Vivekananda to Indian Society,’ organised by the Department of Studies in Philosophy and Vivekananda Chair will be held on Aug.28 and 29 at the EMMRC auditorium in Manasagangothri.
Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, President Swami Muktidanandaji will inaugurate the seminar at 10 am.
University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will preside and Registrar Prof. Lingaraj Gandhi will be the guest of honour.
Prof. V.N. Sheshagiri Rao, Visiting Professor, Swami Vivekananda Chair, DoS in Philosophy, will welcome and speak about the seminar.
Scholars from different parts of the country are participating in the two-day seminar, according to a release from the Philosophy Department.
