NCC as General Elective Subject: Virtual meeting held with Mysuru Colleges

Mysore/Mysuru: As per the National Education Policy-2020 envisioned to reduce the disparity between curricular and co-curricular subjects and to motivate students to join NCC to instill the feeling of patriotism in youths, facilitating their career prospectus along with comprehensive development of students, the University Grants Commission (UGC) granted approval for students to take up NCC as an elective subject in College.

In this regard,13 KAR Battalion CO Colonel Rajesh Kumar hosted a virtual meeting for Principals,  ANOs and CTOs of Mysuru Colleges recently. He motivated everyone to implement this programme to help the students for their bright future. AO Colonel Ashutosh Devrani was also present.

This course will be implemented in all the Colleges coming under Mysore University from the forthcoming academic session. Students can avail this golden opportunity to carve a niche for themselves, he said.
