As part of 75 years of Indian Independence and Puneeth Sagar Abhiyaan the NCC cadets have taken up a challenge to clean the lakes and water bodies across the country. Around 100 cadets of 14 Kar Bn NCC, Mysuru Group from various Schools and Colleges of Mysuru district carried out cleaning works at Varuna Lake in city recently by spreading a message to the society to keep the environment clean and reduce use of plastics.
