NEET exam tomorrow: Prohibitory orders around all exam centres in city

Mysore/Mysuru: With the National Testing Agency (NTA) set to conduct NEET (UG)-2021 for admission to Under-Graduate Medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS) and other Medical courses across the country tomorrow (Sept. 12), the City Police have issued prohibitory orders under Section 144 of Cr.PC in 200 mts radius of all the 24 centres in the city.

The centres include Christ Public School at BEML Layout in Rajarajeshwarinagar; St. Joseph’s School in Jayalakshmipuram; Pramati Hill View Academy; JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar; Mahajana Public School in Jayalakshmipuram; Kendriya Vidyalaya and Nataraja Public School, among others.

The ban orders will be in place from 6 am till 6 pm tomorrow and accordingly, no unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the exam centres and carrying of any objectionable articles is strictly prohibited.

Also, all photocopy shops in the vicinity of the centres are asked to shut down for the day, according to a release issued by the office of the City Police Commissioner.
