Mysore/Mysuru: Condemning the alleged irregularities in NEET, Youth Congress activists staged a protest near the office of Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar at the CADA office complex yesterday.

The protesters raised slogans against PM Narendra Modi and the Union Govt., accusing them of failing to prevent the alleged leak of NEET question papers.

Police had erected barricades and deployed tight security around the MP’s office to prevent the demonstrators from entering the premises.

Despite the security arrangements, the protesters attempted to break through the barricades and march towards the MP’s office. Police intervened and detained several activists, leading to tense moments at the spot.

Youth Congress leaders Hoysala, Basavanna, Nagesh, Kariyappa, Deepak and others took part in the protest.
