Mysore/Mysuru: Ponjanda A. Ganapathy was elected as the President of Kodava Samaja, Mysuru, for 2023-2025 and Ittira G. Kashiappa as Hon. Treasurer in the election for Management Committee held at Kodava Samaja premises in Vijayanagar here yesterday during the Annual General Body Meeting of the Samaja.

Ponjanda A. Ganapathy secured 814 votes against his opponent Malachira M. Ponnappa, who had secured 681 votes while Ittira G. Kashiappa secured 805 votes against Balekuttira Poonacha, who got 648 votes out of the 1,495 votes polled.

The following members were elected unanimously: Machimada P. Nanaiah – Vice-President; Ketolira A. Belliappa – Hon. Secretary; Ajjikuttira Diana Poovaiah – Joint Secretary.
