Mysuru: The new office-bearers of Spoorthi, the Ladies Wing of Builders’ Association of India, Mysore Centre, was installed at a ceremony held at Mysore Builders Charitable Trust Auditorium in city recently.

Outgoing President Rama Srikanth welcomed the guests and dignitaries. Outgoing Hon. Secretary Jahnavi Dinesh presented the annual report for the year 2024-25.

Dr. Sudharani P. Naik, Consultant Psychiatrist, Winner of Miss India World Wide 2022, was the chief guest. N. Subramanya, State Chairman of Builders’ Association of India (BAI) Karnataka – 2025-26, was the guest of honour. V. Srinath, Chairman of BAI Mysore Centre – 2025-26, installed Kavitha Gururaj as the new President and her team besides administering the oath of office.

Kavitha Gururaj announced this year’s theme as “Together We Rise” and it was released by the chief guest.

The new office-bearers and Executive Committee members for the year 2025-2026 are as follows: President – Kavitha Gururaj; Immediate Past President – Ramadevi Srikanth; Vice-President – Shanthi C. Bharadwaj; Hon. Secretary – Ramya Lokesh; Hon. Treasurer – Veena Ashok. Executive Committee Members: B.S. Sandhya Dinesh (PP), Dr. Roopashree Sheshadri, Shobha Shreyams, R. Roopa Raghunath and Shylaja Santhosh Mirle.

Outgoing Hon. Treasurer Shanthi C. Bharadwaj handed over the accounts of the year 2024-25 to the incoming Hon. Treasurer Veena Ashok. Hon. Secretary Ramya Lokesh proposed a vote of thanks.
