Mysuru: The Annual General Body Meeting of Mysuru Travels Association (MTA), a union of all major Tour Operators of Mysuru, was held at Jal Mahal Resort on Bannur Road in city  on May 7.

The following were unanimously elected as office-bearers and Members of the Executive Committee of MTA for the year 2017-2018: B.S. Prashanth – President, Shivalingaiah – Vice – President, A.C. Ravi – Secretary, Vinod – Joint Secretary, Arun Kumar – Treasurer, J. P. Urs – Public Relations Officer, Shridhar – Cultural Committee; Marshal,  Manjunath, Raghavendra and Chandan – Members.

Senior members of the Association Shanthinath,  Vishwanath and J.P. Urs were felicitated on the occasion for their guidance while B.S. Prashanth was feted for his service in promoting Mysuru tourism by organising Mysuru Shopping Festival and launching Visit Mysuru movie and App to help tourists  among many other activities of social interest.  The new website of MTA  www.mysurutravelsassiciation.com was launched during the AGM.
