‘Build Green’ theme logo and monthly magazine ‘Mysore Shilpi’ released

Mysore/Mysuru: The installation function of the new team of office-bearers of Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, for the year 2020-21, was held recently in its MBCT Auditorium here amidst all precautionary measures. 

The programme was aired live and BAI members from various centres across the nation watched the event. The proceedings began with Shashwathi Rohan rendering invocation. Vice-Chairman (2019-20) Ajith Narayana welcomed. Hon.Secretary (2019-20) R.Raghunath gave a power point presentation on activities of the previous year. 

Installing Officer, Immediate Past BAI National Vice President, K.Sriram, State Chairman U.M.Gurushantappa and Chairman of BAI Mysore Centre for the year 2020-21 M.Rathnaraj were introduced through Audio Visual presentation.

Later, Sriram formally installed Gurushantappa as State Chairman and N.Subramanya as State Secretary. In his acceptance address, Gurushanthappa emphasised on the importantance of Skill Development of local labours and working towards the betterment of the construction fraternity.

M.Rathnaraj was installed as the new Chairman of BAI Mysore for the year 2020-21 along with his team. Rathnaraj launched the logo of the theme for the Year ‘Build Green’ and appealed to the members to take a pledge to adapt the concept of going green in all their construction activities and lifestyle. 

During this occasion, monthly magazine of BAI Mysore Centre, ‘Mysore Shilpi’ was released. The digital members directory was also launched and the audited accounts of the year 2019-20 was handed over to the new Hon. Treasurer A.S. Yoganarasimha by Hon. Treasurer (2019-20) Prabhakar Rao.

Hon.Secretary V. Nagaraj Bairy proposed a vote of thanks. Past Chairman N.Subramanya and Subhadra Prateekh compered.
