Mysuru: A newborn baby girl, which was found abandoned in a field next to Naganapura village, Hullahalli hobli in Nanjangud taluk, has been rescued by villagers and admitted to Cheluvamba Hospital here yesterday.

The parents of the baby are asked to contact the office  of the District Child Protection Officer or Child Welfare Committee.
