Newborn girl child abandoned

Mysuru: A newborn girl child was found abandoned in front of a temple at Badagala Hundi in the taluk on Monday night.

Villagers, who heard the cries of the infant coming from near the temple, rushed to the spot only to find a just-born girl child abandoned in front of the temple and immediately informed  Varuna Police.

Varuna Police, who rushed to the spot, rescued the infant and admitted her to Cheluvamba Hospital in city.
